Douglas Ericson Marcelino de Oliveira

Douglas Oliveira is a developer at the Data Extreme Lab (DEXL) of the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC), a research unit of the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations, and Communications (MCTIC) located in Petrópolis, Brazil. In 2017, he received a Ph.D. in Computer Systems at the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), Niterói, Brasil.  He received a B.Sc. degree in Information and Communication Technology in 2008 at the FAETERJ - Petrópolis, where he has also been a lecturer since 2010. He received a M.Sc. degree in Computer Systems (emphasis in Workflow Parallel Processing) in 2010 at the Military Engineering Institute (IME), Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  His current research interests include data science, machine learning and parallel data processing.
