Postdoc researcher in a project on network science and algorithmic networks, under the supervision of Artur Ziviani. His current research project aims to study systemic properties (e.g., emergence, complexity, and synergy) in networked complex systems and its relations to network science. It is based on complex systems science, computability theory, algorithmic and statistical information theory, and complex networks theory.  Major fields: theory of computation, mathematical logic, information theory, complex systems, complex networks. Secondary fields: epistemology, interdisciplinarity, and philosophy of mathematics. Bachelor degree in Mathematics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Doctorate and masters in the interdisciplinary graduate program of History of Sciences and Techniques and Epistemology (HCTE) at the Centre for Mathematical and Natural Sciences (CCMN) in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brazil.

Areas of Interest

Algorithmic networks, network complexity, information and complexity measures on complex systems, open-ended evolutionary systems, artificial life, subrecursion, computational complexity hierarchies, hypercomputation, computability versus uncomputability of physical systems.
